CHICAGO (Dec. 08, 2014) –  Cision, a leading provider of cloud-based public relations and social software, today released its Top 50 Content Marketing Influencers on Twitter list. According to the Content Marketing Institute, “Content marketing’s purpose is to attract and retain customers by consistently creating and curating relevant and valuable content with the intention of changing or enhancing consumer behavior.” It’s one of the most prevalent modern marketing and PR tactics used by brands today, with nine out of 10 organizations utilizing it, according to a Content Marketing Institute and MarketingProfs study.

With the vast majority of brands implementing content marketing, experts in the field are shaping strategies and driving tactics for millions of brands worldwide. This list outlines the 50 most influential content marketers on Twitter in the U.S. as identified by Cision’s “Influencer Search” tool.
