UGREEN Launches Smart Home Ecosystem and New Wireless Chargers at Gillette Stadium Event

The author poses with the new UGREEN products before testing them out.

UGREEN, the consumer tech company known for cables, chargers, and charging accessories, used a launch event at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on September 1 to announce its move into home security and smart home technology. The company unveiled a new product line called HomeAgent, expanded its MagFlow wireless charging lineup, and named New England Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez as its new Global Brand Ambassador.

The event marks UGREEN's entry into what the industry calls AIoT, or artificial intelligence combined with connected devices. It's the company's first major push beyond charging accessories and into full home systems.

HomeAgent combines storage, cameras, and voice control

The centerpiece of the announcement is UGREEN HomeAgent, a local hub designed to store footage, process camera data, and control other smart home devices from a single unit in the home rather than relying on outside servers.

According to UGREEN, most home security cameras are built primarily to record potential risks, which means everyday footage often gets overwritten before anyone notices it was worth keeping. HomeAgent is designed to change that by using on-device AI to recognize people, pets, vehicles, and packages, and by pulling meaningful moments from camera footage automatically rather than waiting for someone to review hours of recordings.

"The next chapter of the smart home is not simply about connecting more devices. It is about creating a system that can understand, assist, and act while keeping users in control," said Marshall Mao, UGREEN's Sales Director for North America.

Some of the system's core features:

  • Facial and object recognition that distinguishes household members from strangers and can flag unfamiliar visitors

  • Voice commands through UGREEN's assistant, Uliya, allowing users to check a room's status, locate a family member, or set custom alerts for events like a package delivery

  • Local file and video storage with no required monthly fee, since core functions run on the home network rather than the cloud

  • Automatic highlight reels pulled from photos and footage, viewable on a companion device called UGREEN Gallery, a digital picture frame

  • Compatibility with Matter, the smart home standard, allowing HomeAgent to control third-party devices and build automations across brands

HomeAgent comes in two versions. The standard HA100 handles the core feature set, while the HA100 Pro adds faster network connectivity and more processing power for tasks like voice-based automation rules and more advanced recognition.

Alongside HomeAgent, UGREEN also introduced MasterAgent MA100, a more powerful local hub built on NVIDIA's Jetson Thor T5000 chip. UGREEN says MasterAgent is designed to run larger AI models locally, handle more complex commands, and coordinate a broader set of connected devices. The company says developers will be able to expand MasterAgent's capabilities through a dedicated developer platform.

Pricing and availability

Pre-orders for HomeAgent HA100, HA100 Pro, and MasterAgent MA100 opened September 3 through UGREEN's AIoT online store. Customers can place a $50 deposit to lock in a discounted early-bird price, described by UGREEN as 50% off. Pre-orders will remain open until UGREEN launches a full crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter on October 27, when additional AIoT accessories are expected to become available.

UGREEN's compatibility documentation shows the ecosystem is also being tested against a range of third-party Matter devices, including hubs and sensors from Aqara, SwitchBot, Eve, Yeelight, and others, along with smart bulbs, plugs, and window and door sensors from various manufacturers. UGREEN says that list is still being updated as testing continues.

Christian Gonzalez named brand ambassador

UGREEN also announced a new partnership with New England Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez, who will serve as the company's Global Brand Ambassador. The announcement builds on an earlier deal from April, when UGREEN became the Patriots' official tech accessory partner.

"Just like UGREEN, I believe great technology should help people stay prepared, reach their potential, and bring their A-game in the moments that matter most," Gonzalez said in a statement.

As part of the partnership, UGREEN plans to run product experience booths at four Patriots home games at Gillette Stadium this season, where fans can test products and enter giveaways. The company also plans a citywide watch party across multiple Boston-area venues on December 10, which will include product demonstrations and the chance to buy products on-site.

MagFlow lineup adds liquid-cooled charging

Separately from the smart home announcements, UGREEN expanded its MagFlow wireless charging lineup with three new products focused on faster charging with better heat management, a common complaint with high-wattage magnetic chargers.

The UGREEN MagFlow Pro Magnetic Power Bank 10000mAh 25W is, according to the company, the first liquid-cooled Qi2 25W magnetic power bank on the market. It uses CryoPulse technology, a small internal pump that circulates coolant to pull heat away from the battery and charging components, paired with a clear window on the case that shows the cooling system in action.

UGREEN says the power bank can charge an iPhone 17 Pro Max to 50% battery in 40 minutes and keeps peak temperatures up to 18 degrees Fahrenheit lower than what the company describes as the industry benchmark. It's priced at $149.99 through UGREEN's website and Amazon.

The UGREEN MagFlow Pro 3-in-1 Magnetic Wireless Charging Stand 25W can charge a phone, an Apple Watch, and AirPods simultaneously. It uses a thermoelectric cooling module and a fan UGREEN says runs at 15 decibels, quiet enough not to be distracting on a desk or nightstand. UGREEN says the charging surface can reach as low as 51.8 degrees Fahrenheit while charging an iPhone 17 Pro Max to 50% in 26 minutes. It's priced at $159.99.

The UGREEN MagFlow 2-in-1 Foldable Magnetic Wireless Charger 25W rounds out the lineup as a compact, travel-oriented option. It charges two devices at once and folds into a phone stand, then collapses into a palm-sized case for a bag or pocket. It's priced at $59.99.

All three MagFlow products are available now through UGREEN's official store and Amazon. The HomeAgent and MasterAgent devices remain in the pre-order phase, with wider availability tied to the October Kickstarter launch.

Background

UGREEN was founded in 2012 and has built its business primarily around charging cables, power banks, and docking accessories, selling in more than 180 countries. The HomeAgent and MasterAgent launches represent the company's first entry into home security and broader smart home hardware, putting it in more direct competition with established players in that space, including Ring, SimpliSafe, Aqara, and Eufy.
